Silent Words

She spoke in silent words
Then moved within the air
Her eyes were golden brown
And gazed without a care
She put her hand in mine
Then span me round and round
And told me of a verse
Yet still there was no sound

But here, I lay
As life, it slips away
Did I love, enough
Or waste my life each day

I saw myself below
The world became as one
I cried for those we lost
And tumbled from the Sun
And as the morning came
She faded into light
A whispered kiss upon my lips
Within this room so bright

But here, I lay
As life, it slips away
Did I love, enough
Or waste my life away

Did I love, enough
Or waste my life away
